Appointment Deposit and Cancellation Policy

Tidewater Auto Detailing will require deposits on all appointments in order to be scheduled in the calendar. Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule precisely for you.

Appointment deposits will be $25 for all detailing services. This is a non-refundable deposit. The deposit will go towards your total price for services rendered. This is not an additional fee.

Tidewater Auto Detailing understands that things happen that may cause you to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Please reschedule or cancel your appointment at least 24 hours prior to service date. Cancellations or reschedule appointments made by the customer less than a 24 hour notice will forfeit your deposit and will need to pay another deposit to book. We will call you the day before your appointment to make sure the time and day still works for you.  

A “No Call No Show” will result in loss of deposit. A new deposit must be made to schedule a new appointment.

Service Pricing

Prices and time based on normal conditions. All prices are subject to change upon inspection. Price will change due to size of vehicle. Pet hair, sand, and poor condition vehicles will incur an additional fee. Excessive trash removal or personal items will incur a charge as well.

Travel Fee

Tidewater Auto Detailing mobile services leave from the city of Newport News. We do not charge a mobile fee if you are within our immediate service area. The further we travel the higher the ticket item has to be. If you have any questions about this topic please contact us.

Bad Weather Conditions

The weather conditions will determine if we can work or not. If the weather is bad, we’ll just reschedule your appointment. No additional deposit is necessary.

Service Location

You must gain permission first before bringing us to any apartment buildings, parking lots, store fronts, random lots, or any other area that the customer does not own. If we are ran off by any person, security, or police for being in an unauthorized area, you will be responsible for paying the full cost of the detail, completed or not.

Payment Methods

We Accept Cash and Card for forms of payment. We use Square card readers to take debit and credit cards. Under special circumstances we can send an invoice to you if you are not going to be available after the detail service was performed. Square works with any US-issued magstripe or chip cards bearing a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover logo.
